Charlotte Weston

Charlotte Weston is a multimedia artist who's main work includes line art, painting, collage and sculpture. For this brief she has created a series of work based off of derogatory names and insults directed towards women and girls. She creates work to take back the insults and present them in an empowering, satirical and humorous way.

Her work explores themes such as societal expectations and pressures presented to women, sexist views and undertones hidden in everyday language and patriarchal aspects regarding how we view and treat women.
